About Mbale School of Nursing and Midwifery
Our story
Christians from GREM started Mbale School of Nursing and Midwifery when they saw how much Eastern Uganda needed community health care. We train nurses and midwives to serve the poor, the young, and the elderly — In God We Love and Serve.
Where we are — and how our campus looks
Our training home has been at the Marare (Malere) campus in Mbale — behind Forest Road — since GREM established the school to serve Eastern Uganda. The photograph shows our 2nd graduation celebration on campus, 28 April 2023 — the courtyard, veranda, and community that gather here.
